A Unique Way to Honor Your Loved One this Holiday Season

CENTREVILLE — Compass Regional Hospice has begun the sale of bricks that will be laid at the renovated Centreville Hospice Center. If you’re looking for a touching and unique way to contribute to their mission, consider sponsoring a brick in honor of or in memory of a loved one. A $200 donation reserves a 4″ x 8″ brick that is able to be customized with the wording of your choice. It is a wonderful way to memorialize someone you’ve lost or pay tribute to someone who has impacted you or your community, and would make a timeless and cherished gift for the holidays.

Since becoming a regional hospice provider for Caroline, Kent and Queen Anne’s counties in 2014, Compass Regional Hospice has more than doubled the number of staff, and nearly tripled the number of patients cared for. This extraordinary growth requires both physical and program expansion, to ensure they continue to provide the very best quality care to the residents of all three counties. The renovations at the Centreville Hospice Center will include the addition of four more residential rooms, and is estimated to be finished in the summer of 2020, at which point the bricks will be laid in place.
