Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts Presents a shared experience of five writers
Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts is pleased to present the third in our Eastern Shore, Heritage & History Series. “In Our Time,” a shared experience of five writers, each with their own perspective on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Brent Lewis a native Eastern Shoreman with deep local roots, has published two nonfiction books about Kent Island as well as one indie novel. His most recent release, Stardust By The Bushel; Hollywood On The Chesapeake Bay’s Eastern Shore, just won a silver medal in the 2023 Independent Publishers Book Awards. A documentarian and a playwright, he’s also written articles for magazines, newspapers, and newsletters. He and his wife Peggy live in Centreville. https://easternshorebrent.com/
Tara A. Elliott’s poems have appeared in TAOS Journal of International Poetry & Art, Wildness, and Ninth Letter, among others. Beth Dulin’s writing has appeared in numerous national literary publications. Joyce Ensor Maust – Delaware’s House of Representatives’ Poet Laureate and recipient of the 2024 Delaware Individual Artist Fellowship for Emerging Poets, Joyce draws inspiration from her rural upbringing on a dairy farm in southwest Pennsylvania, where generations of ancestors tilled the same land. Raised with a deep connection to nature and storytelling, Joyce also brings a unique perspective to her poetry thanks to her degrees in English and physics. https://jempoetry.com/
