Women Supporting Women Hosts 16th Annual Ride for Awareness Virtually!
Local non-profit organizes virtual motorcycle ride to raise awareness of breast cancer on Delmarva.
Salisbury, MD – For the sixteenth year, local non-profit organization, Women Supporting Women will host their Ride for Awareness. However, as this year brings new challenges to how organizations hold events, WSW will be hosting the Ride for Awareness virtually throughout the month of October.
“We are very excited to invite bikers from all over Delmarva to take a route of their choice and share pictures with us through social media. Riders will have the opportunity to participate throughout the month of October, which is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” states Cindy Feist WSW Executive Director.
Tickets for the Ride are $20 for a single rider, and $30 for a rider and passenger. This ticket price includes a commemorative event patch for the first 100 registrants.
For more information riders should visit www.womensupportingwomen.org or register at www.Eventbrite.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
100% of registration proceeds from the ride will benefit WSW, your local breast cancer nonprofit dedicated to providing awareness, education, and support to all those affected by breast cancer. WSW is not affiliated with any national organization, so the monies raised stay on the Shore to help our neighbors, friends and families. Besides free services, WSW provides friendship, support and hope.
More information and sponsorship’s for the event are available by contacting the WSW office at 410-548-7880.
