Caroline County Commissioner Wilbur Levengood Injured in Farm Accident

Caroline County Commissioner Wilbur Levengood sustained traumatic, non-life threating injuries in an accident at his farm in Goldsboro on Friday, June 12, 2020. Units from Caroline County Emergency Medical Services and the Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene.

Due to the nature of his injuries, Commissioner Levengood was transported via helicopter by Maryland State Police to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore City, where he is receiving treatment.

Commissioner Levengood’s family appreciates the expressions of love and concern they have received from the community but requests privacy at this time. The County will provide updates regarding Commissioner Levengood’s condition as approved by his family.
