CHESTERTOWN, MD — KRM Development Corporation and Dixon Valve & Coupling Company have agreed to donate 800 High Street, the current headquarters of Dixon, to Washington College. A portion of the 800 High Street property sits across the rail trail from the College’s Office of Buildings and Grounds and the Johnson Fitness Center. Dixon will be moving from the 800 High Street address to its new facilities at the Chestertown Business Campus over the next few years.

“The gift by KRM of 800 High Street is extremely important for Washington College,” says College President Kurt Landgraf. “Its proximity to the College gives us the potential for a range of options.

“Dixon and KRM have been consistent supporters of the College, by hiring our alumni, creating terrific internships for our students, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us on so many of the challenging issues which face Chestertown and Kent County,” Landgraf says. “Our gratitude is deep and heartfelt for this remarkable donation, and for all of their continued and many-faceted contributions to Washington College.”
