The grief support group will be facilitated by Ann O’Connor, LCSW‐C, a bereavement counselor for Compass Regional Hospice.

Participation in support groups offered through Compass Regional Hospice, offer companionship and understanding from others who are experiencing the similar challenges that living with grief brings. “Together the group members share ways to cope with their changed situation, realizing that grieving and adjusting to new ways of living take time” said O’Connor.

Each group session will revolve around topics such as grief, sharing memories, and adjusting to and finding meaning in your loss, and include specialized activities, teachings, and open discussions.
