UM Shore Regional Health’s Nurse Residency Program welcomed 12 nurses to its one-year program beginning July 22, 2019. The Vizient/AACN model nurse residency program, which is designed to help health care organizations focus on retaining new nurses, includes monthly seminars and complements nursing orientation and specialty training. Nationwide, more than 93,000 nurses have completed Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency training.
