Easton’s Emily Griffith score 2 of her game leading 21 points.When the game began one could hardly tell that the Lady Warriors from Easton was on top of the Northern Bayside Conference and the Lady Trojans near the bottom. Kent would take a quick 6-0 lead after two 3 point shots by Mattie Cesarini and had a 9-3 lead before Easton scored their first basket. Easton’s first 3 points were foul shots, one each in three shooting foul opportunities.
Once Easton got warmed up they stormed back to lead at the end of the quarter by 1 at 12-11. From there it was all Easton with them out scoring Kent by 18 in the second to take a 34-15 lead into the half.
