Three Caroline County Men Sentenced from Manufacturing and Using Destructive Devices Incident
Caroline County – The Caroline County State’s Attorney’s Office has sentenced three Caroline County men that were arrested on April 30, 2018, for manufacturing and using destructive devices and other related charges. The three men are Michael H. Walker and Brandon L. Bradley of Ridgely and Edward D. Lynch of Greensboro.
On April 11, 2018, Deputies from the Office of the State Fire Marshal conducted an investigation which ultimately lead to the arrests of the three males from Caroline County.
Mr. Edward Lynch plead guilty to attempted Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1000, which carries a maximum penalty of 60 days and/or a fine not to exceed $500 and was sentenced on January 9, 2019, to 60 days and the court suspended all except 2 days. He is also on unsupervised probation for 12 months.
Mr. Bradley plead guilty to reckless endangerment, which carries a maximum penalty of five years and/or a fine not to exceed $5,000. He also plead guilty to attempted Malicious Destruction of Property Over $1,000, which carries a maximum penalty of three years and/or a fine not to exceed $2,500. Mr. Bradley was sentenced on November 1, 2018, to five years for Reckless Endangerment and three years for attempted Malicious Destruction of Property. Those sentences will be served concurrently.
Mr. Walker plead guilty to attempted Second Degree Arson, which carries a maximum 20 years and/or a fine not to exceed $30,000 and was sentenced on October 15, 2018, to 14 years, suspending all but four years.
Mr. Bradley and Mr. Walker were on probation at the time of the incident. Therefore, both men had violated their probation committing these crimes.
