Easterseals Invites Public to Meet Volleyball Challenge Ambassadors

New Castle, DE – Join Easterseals as we introduce the 2019 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge ambassadors, Jackie and Isaiah, and their families. The event will be held on January 24, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Limestone BBQ and Bourbon located at 2062 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE. Appetizers are provided and drink specials will also be available.

Anyone interested in learning more about playing or volunteering in the Volleyball Challenge, which raises critically needed funds to help people with disabilities, is invited to come to the Meet the Ambassadors event.

Come meet Jackie, who attends Easterseals Adult Day program, and her husband Jack. “Jackie enjoys the people there and loves interacting with them. Jackie is all smiles when I pick her up. That is the most important aspect,” Jack says of his experience with Easterseals.

Also meet Isaiah, a spirited little cutie who takes part in Easterseals Children’s Therapy program who will be accompanied by his family. Isaiah’s mom, Latoya, shares her thoughts about Easterseals, “Easterseals has become a part of my family. Without Easterseals I would be walking blindly. With them, I have a new set of eyes to help Isaiah excel.”

The Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge will be held on April 5-7, 2019 at William Penn High School, located at 713 E Basin Rd; New Castle, DE. Teams of 6 to 10 people play other teams in 90-minute time slots to raise money for Easterseals. Competitive play is also available. For more information, contact Stephanie DiMartine at Easterseals at 302-221-2065 or email sdimartine@esdel.org.

For the fifteenth year, CAI, a leading information technology consulting organization, is title sponsor for this event. Founding Sponsor, Canada Dry, is also a returning sponsor.
