Rollover with Unknown Injuries in Kent County
Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company
On Monday, December 17, 2018, at approximately 4:30 pm, the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company, Kent & Queen Annes Rescue Squad and Kent County EMS was dispatched for the Motor Vehicle Collision with Rollover and Unknown Injuries. The location was Earl Nicholson Road between Bakers Lane and Annie Crow Road.
Units arrived to find a single passenger car had traveled off the roadway and rolled multiple times. The patient was still in the vehicle. In order to gain access to the patient, personnel used hydraulic rescue tools to pop the door. The patient was placed in spinal immobilization and secured to a backboard. Subsequently, the patient was airlifted by Maryland State Police Aviation to a trauma center in Baltimore, Maryland. At this time, the condition of the patient is unknown.
