Compass Regional Hospice Gala set for March 22, 2019
CENTREVILLE — On Friday, March 22, 2019, Compass Regional Hospice will host its annual Gala at Annie’s Paramount Steak & Seafood House in Grasonville. The Compass Regional Hospice Gala is the nonprofit organization’s premier fundraiser, supporting hospice care and grief support services available in Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline counties.
The 2019 Gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. and features cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a seated dinner of petite filets and lobster tail. After dinner, the dance band Retrospect will entertain guests with a playlist that includes today’s hits and memorable tunes back to the Big Band era.
Gala guests will support Compass Regional Hospice by bidding on premier silent and live auction items, which have been generously donated toward the cause. Items will include vacation and experience packages, jewelry, and many other treasures.
This year’s jewelry raffle includes a pair of diamond earrings with a value of more than $9,000. The earrings are approximately 2 carats in weight. Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 100 tickets will be sold. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Gala and the winner need not be present to win. The earrings were donated to the raffle by a friend of Compass Regional Hospice. Raffle tickets are on sale now and make perfect Christmas gifts.
This is a black-tie optional event. Gala tickets are $200 per person and must be purchased in advance.
