Fatal Collision in Caroline County
On November 14, 2018, at 1100 hours, a collision occurred involving three vehicles. The collision occurred on Rt 313 near Union Rd, Greensboro, Caroline County.
Vehicle One: 2018 Ford Focus, Vehicle One Driver: Andrew Scott Bixler, 42 yrs of Goldsboro.
Vehicle Two: 2013 Dodge Dart, Vehicle Two Driver: Christina Maria Godfrey, 34 yrs of Marydel.
Vehicle Three: 2010 Nissan SUV, Vehicle Three Driver: Carley Jo Elburn, 30 yrs of Marydel
Vehicle Three passenger, 3 yrs of Marydel.
Troopers from the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack responded to the collision. The preliminary investigation has revealed the driver of vehicle one, Andrew Bixler, crossed the center line for unknown reasons and struck vehicle two head on. Vehicle three was traveling behind vehicle two and was also involved in the collision.
The driver of vehicle one was transported to Kent General Hospital in Delaware and pronounced deceased. The driver of vehicle two was pronounce deceased at the collision scene. The driver and passenger of vehicle three were also transported to Kent General Hospital in Delaware for injuries sustained.
The investigation is continuing.
