Annual hole-in-one tournament benefits Compass Regional Hospice’s Services in Kent County
On September 13, 2018, 27 golfers participated in the Mary Jean Hudson Memorial Hole-in-One Tournament at the Chester River Yacht and Country Club in Chestertown. Mary Jean Hudson would have been 90 years old this year. Each year, her daughter host the hole-in-one tournament to honor her love for golf and supporting hospice. Dollars raised were based on registration fees and 50/50 raffle ticket prices and will support hospice care and grief support services in Kent County. Compass Regional Hospice is a fully licensed, independent, community-based nonprofit organization certified by Medicare and the state of Maryland and accredited by the Joint Commission. Since 1985, Compass Regional Hospice has been dedicated to supporting people of all ages through the challenge of living with a life-limiting illness and learning to live following the death of a loved one.
